Is my financial data sent anywhere?

No. Your entries are stored encrypted on your own device. The only optional exception is Google Drive backup, which you control and which is itself encrypted with a passphrase only you know. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

I lost my backup passphrase — can you recover my backup?

Unfortunately no — we never see your passphrase, so we have no way to decrypt a backup without it. This is by design, so keep it somewhere safe.

How do I stop the app from reading my notifications?

Go to Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Notification access, and turn Personal Finance Manager off at any time. Your existing entries are unaffected.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Open the Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and select Personal Finance Manager. The app's Premium screen also links directly there.

How do I delete all my data?
